Carrie Scharbo is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, former television news reporter, entrepreneur and civic organizer who has built a career recognizing where attention and influence are moving next.
Today, she is the founder and editor-in-chief of The Broad Agenda, where she helps people understand which stories deserve their attention, who is gaining power and how decisions made in Washington reach their homes. Through smart analysis, timely explainers and candid conversations with candidates, elected officials, entrepreneurs, organizers and other changemakers, Carrie makes complex issues easier to follow while shining a light on the people working to move their communities, and the country, forward.
Before launching The Broad Agenda, Carrie co-founded the global accessories company Case-Mate and later founded William Grace, an equestrian-inspired lifestyle brand. She now draws on the judgment of a journalist, the instincts of an entrepreneur and the perspective of a Gen-X mother and organizer to ask thoughtful questions, elevate people making a difference and help audiences understand power while using their own to shape what happens next.
